I want to convert a pdf file that I mistakenly had to generate when I deleted the original file. I want to convert the pdf sheet back to a Word doc so I can edit it.

For the past couple of months I have been getting the message www.bbc.com. PR_END_OF_FILE_ERROR

Error code: PR_END_OF_FILE_ERROR when loading pages on www.bbc.com website. I have done a search on the internet and it seems this is a common problem with Firefox and does not affect othere browesers. I have done what was advice given online but it does not solve the problem. It is getting so bad I may have to start using one of the other browsers even though I prefare Firefox.

Hello all. I'd like to restore the backspace button function but the previously workable solution — resetting browser. backspace_action to 0 — is not working for me. Any hints as to why that might be the case?

I get repeated messages that I use an old version despite having downloaded the most recent version. When i try to start Firefox it won't start, I only get a message and the precise wording of the message is" You've launched an older version of Firefox Using an older version of Firefox can corrupt bookmarks and browsing history already saved to an existing Firefox profile. To protect your information, create a new profile for this installation of Firefox." Then I get two choices, either "Exit" or "Create New Profile". If I choose the first, I exit. If I choose the latter and create a new profile then I loose my bookmarks and browsing history. Appreciate any solution you might have

I am having a significant issue with firefox draining my battery. I used chrome up until the new year and then switched over to firefox from chrome. Overall I love firefox so much more. The format is way more pleasing. I love how it easily signs me back into everything, BUT IT DRAINS MY COMPUTER SO MUCH. Like i used to have an 8hour + battery span my laptop neverrr died. Now I get through MAX 2 hours of full use before needing to charge, and maybe 4 hours just having it at school but not using it.

I thought my dell suddenly started crashing, ran all these tests, and then I realized the only change was that I had started using Firefox... So sad I think I am going to have to leave it.

I read a lot of articles and did everything suggested. my graphics is webreader , i turned on all the suggested features, i have 2 extensions , the only thing I could maybe think of was that I use an animated theme so maybe that was killing the battery, but like if I can't use my theme than whats the point.

To identify myself I had to scan a qr code on a website using my phone. This used to work in firefox but it doesn't anymore. It still works in edge. I'm using firefox 119.0.1 x64 on windows 11 home 22H2. How can I fix this?

In the last 2 weeks (that I know of), Mercari will not appear when I go to it. I just get a blank page. I've restarted the computer, I've turned off the Ublock and Ghostery but nothing. Everything else works fine. I am not very computer adept, by the way. I sell things on Mercari, so I kind of need to access it. I'm not even sure I picked the right topic (website breakages)....sorry if I got it wrong.

I used to be able to access my email with previous versions of Firefox but cannot anymore. When I attempt to sign in it just goes back to sign in page. I have to use another browser to access my email. Is it possible to go back to a previous version of firefox?

I had an email [edited] @drowlin.tech which I no longer use. It was connected to a firefox account, which is now redundant. The email I now use is [edited] @gmail.com. I have tried to get the account closed, but security checks have prevented me from doing so. The same for the email [edited] @yahoo.co.uk, the firefox account it is connected to, is also redundant.

     Any help to close these accounts would be much appreciated.

Another problem I have is I had two aliases [edited] @relay.firefox.com and [edited] @relay.firefox.com used in an early version of Monitor both of which I want to discontinue. I am hopeful you will be able to help me. All open tabs NOW disappear after power failure or Comcast temporarily loses service or I restart my computer. This never happened to me before ~ if my computer was affected by outage or I manually restarted it a message came up to click on asking if I wanted my tabs restored. 1 click and they were restored ~ that option is not available to me now. It's frustrating and time consuming for me to "look" for, and "try" to find those tabs I had open. If someone does respond to my question I won't know its been done unless I receive an email because I'm not certain I can find my way back to this support page, primarily because I cannot remember HOW I even found this page in the first place! I bookmarked this page so perhaps I will be able to return to it. Thanks for the "How to restore tabs" help I HOPE you can give me. Marilyn West
