I am not sure if I asked this previously with another issue. Be that as it may, I will ask.
A few weeks ago I went into the Startup Menu to disable certain programs that I thought was slowing the system's startup. That was a couple weeks ago. I went over the startup items and disabled only those I do not use or need after starting my computer.
I use Yahoo as my homepage on the Firefox browser. On some of the photos associated with an article I get this error:
Error in rendering player
Error Code: 400-404 Session Id: rm7bfdr3 (Pls: 93a94693-7bc6-4c95-8398-99b65521dab2)
Why is this happening and how do I fix it? I will also attach a screen shot of a page with the error.
Thanks as always, Irv

Dear Sir or Madam: I seem to have a compatibility problem with my firefox browser. Not always, but often, I get a 502 error when I try to log in to my bank account. After contacting my bank, I found out that their program is not compatible with firefox and that I should use Google, which choose to avoid. Is there a patch or fix that can get rid of the 502 error and allow me to continue using Firefox, which I have used for almost twenty years. I don't want to switch to Google, EVER! Please let me know what options I might Have.
Respectivly, Louis Osip

Need help with this problem, and need it desperately and quickly! So much so, that I bothered to actually make an account here to beg for help. I've been getting an "access denied" error on some websites. First it was mouser, and I had to phone in an order. They claimed that there were no problems with the website, and no other customers were reporting issues at the time. Started researching the problem, and discovered various "fixes" seem to revolve around the various security and privacy settings. NONE of these alleged "fixes" actually work! Continued to research the problem, and still haven't found a solution that actually works. Next it was lowe's website, so can no longer comparison shop with them (at least they have plenty of competitors). Now, it's ups, and did not discover this until I just ordered a bunch of stuff and have almost a dozen packages to track! HELP! PLEASE! Mail theft is a HUGE problem in this area, and I need to know exactly when all these deliveries are arriving! Here's all my info, as best as I have it or know it: Linux OS FF was updated to v137, this was one of the first things done in attmpting to solve the problem when it first happened. Cookies, cache, history, etc are always cleared, I only go to one website at a time, and clear all this stuff out, close, and then reopen FF before I go to another website. Clearing this stuff out and then refreshing the page (a commonly mentioned "solution") doesn't work. Privacy and tracking protection was changed from "custom" (with everything checked), to "standard". "Do not track" was changed, and turned off (unchecked) "Website advertising preferences" was not changed from the unchecked setting, since none of the affected websites contain advertising. "Certificates / query OCSP responder servers" was left checked. "Don’t enable HTTPS-Only Mode" was left checked. "DNS over HTTPS" was changed from "max protection" to "default". "Use your default DNS resolver" was changed from unchecked to checked. "Play DRM-controlled content" was left unchecked. "No proxy" is checked in the "network settings".
Generally speaking, the various "solutions" proffered seem to involve turning off or minimizing any privacy protections. No one specific thing I've seen mentioned has solved the problem. And attempting to "open up" all of these settings hasn't worked at all. So, first, am I somehow missing something? Is there some privacy protection buried in the settings that I haven't been able to find and "open up"?
Secondly, WHY is this happening? (This question is being asked on a technical level, I'm trying to understand this and learn something here) In my understanding of attempting to research the problem, it is somehow something that some websites are doing to protect themselves against bots and DDOS attacks - OR (and?) - is a way of forcing tracking and datamining onto those who still attempt to cling to some notion of privacy. What exactly are these websites doing, that causes this error with FF, but not other browsers? Why does this error occur with FF, and not other browsers?
Right now, the urgent need is being able to track these deliveries so that hundreds and hundreds of dollars worth of merchandise and supplies don't get stolen! Somebody, PLEASE HELP! TIA!

Two days in a row I have not been able to get into my e-mail due to an error relating to the sign in to Bell services : webmail.bell.net. PR_CONNECT_RESET_ERROR comes up every time. A Bell employee managed to get it sorted briefly yesterday by resetting my password for this Bell service, but despite having embedded that new password into the incantation to get into the site supposedly, the error is happening again today! They cannot get back to me in less than 24 hours (and it may be 48) so my tax returns are definitely going to be late this year..... added to the usual problems of staff unable to speak comprehensible English, frustration is making me feel quite ill. Browser is Firefox and operating system Windows 11

Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand. Size of a request header field exceeds server limit.
I have done this before, and it worked. To test if it was a problem with the web page or the browser, I did it from another browser (Brave), and it loaded fine. Is Firefox sending a bad request? Is this something you can fix.
I am using Mozilla Firefox for Linux Mint 137.0.1 (64 bit).

Today, out of approximately 31 attempts to connect to Amazon or (once connected to Amazon) navigate to a new Amazon page, Firefox succeeded 14 times. 14 out of 31 is good in baseball, poor in basketball, and unacceptable in connecting and browsing. Here is the "error" according to Firefox:
An error occurred during a connection to www.amazon.com. PR_END_OF_FILE_ERROR
Error code: PR_END_OF_FILE_ERROR
The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified. Please contact the website owners to inform them of this problem.
I have read the potential solutions to this problem. I did disconnect my VPN (Proton) and was able to connect to Amazon on my next attempt. However, that was atypical rather than typical - when I attempted to move from one Amazon page to another Amazon page, the END OF FILE ERROR was the result. Further attempts to reconnect to Amazon have succeeded 3 out of 11 times. Yes, I did close Firefox and reopen it, I am signed in to my Firefox/Mozilla account and I did reboot my laptop. I have yet to try the other solutions because I want to be a good Mozilla client and follow the instructions attached to the error message: "Please contact the website owners to inform them of this problem." I have contacted Amazon and am now waiting to hear back from someone in the Technical Department. I am skeptical that Amazon will be able to resolve this because I doubt that Amazon is to blame (this lack of connectivity has also happened with Google, GMail and a couple other sites that I can't recall at the moment.
To clarify, the received data of supposed questionable authenticity has been my login information on the official Amazon login page and also simply the data from an Amazon product page (bike locks mostly)
For me, this is only a problem with Firefox. It is NOT happening on Bing, and even Chrome is able to connect without the END OF FILE ERROR. I have occasionally encountered other instances where Firefox would not connect me but the other browsers would. Most notably, this happens often when trying to connect my laptop with my phone via Bluetooth and other times when I'm asked to sign in to Google or sign in to my Microsoft account. On those occasions, Firefox demands that I insert my original security key from an external flash drive. I would be glad to do so, but I've never had an original security key on an external flash drive. At those times, I attempt the identical login using Bing (success about 9 out of 10 times) or Chrome (success every time).
I am not a cyber guru and am not even technically gifted with computer technology and internet knowledge. I am self-taught and am mediocre (at best) in these areas, so I'm hoping that the blame for this issue is mine as opposed to Firefox being at fault.
I look forward to any advice, suggestions or resolution to this issue and I thank in advance any who reply.
I am on an HP Probook 650 G2, Windows 10 Pro Build 22H2 (HP states that this laptop cannot be upgraded to 11), Firefox version 137.0 (64-bit), Xfinity WiFi 5G, Arris SB8300 Router/Modem. All are functioning as intended except Firefox.

I got through once by removing the https, but that no longer works. They came up with a solution that only worked once. I am not tech saavy and neither site has never worked and I've used them for years. Was or Is there an update that may have caused this.
I'm going on a month now not being able to access one.
