When I open Web Developer Tools -> Inspector -> Eyedropper the eyedropper just shows a circle but does not copy or display the colors as you hover over them. When you click it just copies #000000 to the clipboard.
The only way I can use the Eyedropper is by going to: Tools -> Browser Tools -> Eyedropper.
My current Firefox version is 94.0.2 and I noticed this issue within the last minor/major update. I also noticed that the issue heavily depends on the website you are trying to get colors from. Some websites work fine while others it does not work.
When I try it on Hacker News (https://news.ycombinator.com/) it does not work for me.

I can sign in to Gmail through other Edge with no problem. I am using the latest version of Firefox.
When I search for bookmarks, Firefox stammers too much.
It stops for a few minutes.

Firefox will not play any videos for me. This occurs on every website. On youtube for example, the loading circle will be perpetually spinning over the video. I can use the slider to scrub through the video, and a static image will appear, but not play. The Youtube video will play no problem in Edge browser.
This is on a Dell Latitude laptop with intel i7 integrated graphics. I have already tried every common solution I have found while searching:
Is there anything else I can try, or any troubleshooting steps I can follow?
Thank you!

Hi,
I am having an issue with a website I am developing, which I am only seeing in Firefox. To reproduce please try the following:
1. Go to https://mymummyteacher.com/store and add a product to the cart. 2. Close the tab / browser 3. Go back to https://mymummyteacher.com/store and add a product to the cart. The single product that has been just added is shown, however the Subtotal and Total are showing as if the previously added product is still in there too.
If I do a hard reload (hold down shift), all the other products then appear. So I think this is an issue with caching. I am not seeing it on other browsers. Is this a bug, or is there something I can do to stop it happening?
Thanks

When connecting to the following web site the on screen 'buttons' DONATE and DONATE NOW don't function when using Firefox.
Firefox is my default browser and has been for many years. If I copy and paste the link into another browser e.g. Chrome, the function as expected. Is this a fault with Firefox or with the particular website?

Recently YouTube videos have stopped playing when I'm using the Firefox browser on Windows 10. This has occurred both on my laptop and on my desktop computer. The player, surrounding website, comments, description, etc. all load correctly. The video does not, instead displaying either the video's thumbnail and a buffering symbol, or a blank black screen and a buffering symbol. The time codes on the video load correctly. Ads do not play either, and instead after about 15-30 seconds of buffering the "skip ad" button appears in the lower right hand corner of the video. Videos play normally on both Chrome and Edge, and all other media content appears to load correctly (music/spotify, videos on social media websites, etc.)
So far I have tried: - Running Firefox in troubleshoot mode - Refreshing Firefox - Clearing the cache - Disabling and re-enabling hardware acceleration (didn't work either way) - Uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox - Rebooting my machine - Waiting for the problem to fix itself (it's been two weeks on my main desktop/tower and it's still not working).
At this point the only thing I haven't tried is messing with advanced config settings, and I'm avoiding that since I have no idea what any of them actually do (despite what certain reddit threads recommend).
As far as I'm aware, no specific update to either of my machines or Firefox has preceded the issue appearing. It's been going on on my desktop computer for about two weeks, the problem just started on my laptop last night.
It's worth nothing that I usually use UBlock Origin, Simple Tab Groups, and Facebook container. Those extensions are not currently installed since I had to reset my browser in the process of trying to fix the issue.
I can also confirm it's not an internet issue; speed tests show normal download/upload speeds for my wifi, and those have not varied since the issue began. All of my drivers are also currently up to date.

I have an account and thought that the bookmarks etc would be saved. when I downloaded the most recent version of mozilla everything went out the window and it stopped working. I had selected not to restore defaults cause it messes with a lot of settings that I didn't want to have to redo again. didn't matter what i did it wouldn't work. ended up having to install a new version of mozilla, how ever my history, bookmarks, etc that I rely on being there where all gone. I need help trying to get everything back please

I am absolutely devastated to find that my saved logins and passwords have all vanished from my account. I just uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox because the sync on my open tabs didn't seem to be working. But now ALL of my passwords are gone and I don't have them anywhere else because I thought I could rely on Firefox.
I'm logged in to my Firefox account but they are all gone.
How can I get them back? Please keep it simple if possible, I have no background in IT.
Thanks so much - feeling a bit desperate here and hoping there's some way to recover them all.

Using Firefox 94.0.2 and I randomly can't load web pages. It will work fine for a while but eventually I get stuck loading the page. Restarting the browser seems to solve it for a while. This only happens with my Firefox browser on my organization's PC running Windows 10. The browser works fine at home.
I have tried various things, like deleting private data, re-installing the browser, using installed and portable versions, running in troubleshoot mode without addons & extensions, but to no avail.
I'm currently writing this in Chrome because Chrome doesn't have this issue.

Long story short: Whenever I open Firefox, apparently a Russian search engine named 'Poshukach' hijacks my homepage and doesn't let me use google(Image attached). Now to solve this I scoured the Internet. I refreshed Firefox, ran malware scans and even re-installed windows. Still it doesn't go away. I installed Firefox in another device with the same account but to no avail. They while roaming through Firefox settings I noticed in the top that it says 'Your browser settings is managed by your organization' or something like that. So, I figured bad guys took control of my browser's settings disguising as my so called "organization" So, I need help from Firefox's end to solve this. Remove this Organization management stuff from my account. I want my control back. Otherwise, I am afraid I gotta stop using Firefox altogether due to privacy reasons

I have a duplicate Firefox account that I would like to close.
I forgot the password for this account, and when I go to https://accounts.firefox.com/reset_password to reset it, I enter my email address for the account I'd like to log into and it fails every time with the message "Primary account email required for reset".
The API response includes the error message "Reset password with this email type is not currently supported".
My account email address ends in @hey.com. Is this domain not allowed for password resets?

Hello - first I just want to acknowledge how great it is to have a free browser, and the great work the (un-or underpaid) Mozilla team has done lo these many years - thank you.
Okay, just want to put this out there but it seems sometime after version 90 of my Firefox browser I am seeing extreme slowdowns on my underwhelming Dell 5520 Inspiron laptop, circa 2014, running Windows 8.1. I also have Malwarebytes and Avast Premium Antivirus running together. My last Windows update was about two weeks ago (11 Nov 2021). My Firefox browser is currently 94.0.2.
I have noticed this four times. I typically browse Reddit but sometimes it's with Youtube. This is normally the scenario: 1) Launch browser; 2) navigate to website; 3) keep tab open for several hours and in many cases my laptop will go to sleep at least once; 4) at some point after waking up PC, logging in then continuing to browse, a warning banner in Firefox will tell me "This website is slowing your browser down. Stop it?", but if I wait at least 5 seconds it will automatically clear; 5) launch Task Manager - which is not easy because of what is going on but after 30-60 seconds it will appear; 6) notice that memory usage is extremely high and most processes are coming to a halt; 7) close Firefox and thing return to normal after 30-45 seconds. I've attached some before and after screenshots. The "before" is after browsing Reddit for about 3 hours and my laptop went to sleep twice; the "after" is when Firefox was closed (two tabs were open - one Reddit, the other Youtube) and then waiting about 30 seconds. Firefox instances take a little time to disappear from Task Manager, apparently.
Lots of variables to consider here: Latest antivirus program not working well? Extensions? (I have three extensions - Adblock Plus, Privacy Badger and Ecosia Search) Perhaps Firefox itself? Motherboard/DIMMs that is/are overdue for the landfill? Windows sucks? (rhetorical).
I guess I am not really looking for help but instead just want to log this as a heads-up to anyone who is encountering the same problem under the same conditions. I will continue experimenting with refreshing my instance of Firefox and possibly turning off browsers/antivirus components in a selective manner to see if it makes any difference. There is also the possibility that a Windows Update has broken something so maybe a restore point is in order here.
Thanks again for offering such a great product.
