did you know you have two Adobe Shockwave for Director programs? What you could do is remove both, then go to Adobe.com and install the latest version.

and i also have a problem that firefox suddenly shuts off after a while and refresh

i havent done it yet but befor i do do i need to, and if so what is it completely called and how do i reinstall them?

also done 2 of the 3 steps told by the first replier but that doesnt help that much

Did you try disable the hardware acceleration?

Try disabling graphics hardware acceleration. Since this feature was added to Firefox, it has gradually improved, but there still are a few glitches.

You might need to restart Firefox in order for this to take effect, so save all work first (e.g., mail you are composing, online documents you're editing, etc.).

Then perform these steps:

• Click the orange Firefox button at the top left, then select the "Options" button, or, if there is no Firefox button at the top, go to Tools > Options.
• In the Firefox options window click the Advanced tab, then select "General".
• In the settings list, you should find the Use hardware acceleration when available checkbox. Uncheck this checkbox.
• Now, restart Firefox and see if the problems persist.

As FredMcD said you have two(I saw three) flash player installed, try remove it and get a new version:

• Disable or remove Add-ons
• Flash Player

Also:

• Check plugins
• Clear recent history
• Create a screenshot of the problem

how do i remove plugins? there is no remove option

oh and btw yes i do see a message but forget to report the issue everytime.. i also sometimes only get a ! in the middle of the screen for no clear reason

Okay. Most plugins are programs that Firefox finds on your system. Here is how to work with them.

1) Firefox > Add-ons > Plugins. From here find the plugin. At the far right there is a selector. You can select Ask to Activate or Never Activate.

2) To remove the plugin completely, Close Firefox. Then Windows > Start > Control Panel > Programs > Remove Programs. Look for the programs you want to remove, and remove them.

After, it would be best to restart the computer.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).

If you are talking about Windows Remove Programs, remove everything from Adobe. You will reinstall the current version from Adobe.com later.

Do not confuse the Shockwave Flash plugin and the Shockwave for Director plugin as those are different plugins (the latter is hardly used these days).

You can uninstall the Shockwave for Director plugins via the Windows Control Panel.
No need to remove other Adobe plugins if those are up to date.
