I am pleaged with PopUps New windows opening on Windows 8
Every time I open Firefox there is a one inch high and five inch log popup at the bottom of that page. Popup blocker is on. Additionally, When I open up Firefox it opens another instance of Firefox in a separate window. It opens windows and adds with people talking and video streaming. I hate Windows 8 hopefully it is not FireFox or just a setting that needs to be set to control Windows 8.

hello, you appear to have loads of malicious and adware extension present in your firefox profile. as a first step please try to reset firefox...
afterwards go to firefox > addons > extensions & disable any remaining entries & also go to the windows control panel / programs and remove all toolbars or potentially unwanted software from there.
finally run a full scan of your system with the security software that you have in place and different other tools like the free version of malwarebytes & adwcleaner.

I had the same problem. After resetting Firefox, I went to Add-ons and discovered I had Linksicle as a Firefox Add-on and Linksicle was installed as a program in Windows 8. I disabled the add-on and uninstalled Linksicle using the Programs and Features in my Control Panel after rebooting the problem went away. I have no more popups or unwanted new windows.
