Hello, have zou tried to disable HW acceleration in your drivers?

Try disabling graphics hardware acceleration. Since this feature was added to Firefox, it has gradually improved, but there still are a few glitches.

You might need to restart Firefox in order for this to take effect, so save all work first (e.g., mail you are composing, online documents you're editing, etc.).

Then perform these steps:

• Click the orange Firefox button at the top left, then select the "Options" button, or, if there is no Firefox button at the top, go to Tools > Options.
• In the Firefox options window click the Advanced tab, then select "General".
• In the settings list, you should find the Use hardware acceleration when available checkbox. Uncheck this checkbox.
• Now, restart Firefox and see if the problems persist.

Additionally, please check for updates for your graphics driver by following the steps mentioned in the following Knowledge base articles:

However I am not sure this can really be investigated without your help, and also it probably is unlikely Firefox is the culprit if you have a BSOD Windows Crash.

Firefox is what is called a UserSpace Application, it alone cannot cause a bluescreen. Bluescreens can only be caused by KernelSpace applications (like your Firewall). While these applications may have hooks into Firefox that are buggy, Firefox by itself can't cause a bluescreen. 

Try looking into the error code that your bluescreen gives you.

Already unchecked "Use hardware acceleration when available", but it didn't solve the problem :(

Having this problem too. I have uninstalled and reinstalled. I have turned off hardware accelerations and followed a few other tips I've found researching this. My system is stable until I launch FireFox. It will work fine for 30 minutes to a few hours, but sooner or later the cursor will get stuck for a few seconds, then a minute and then the system locks up completely. I can not effect my computer at all from the keyboard or the mouse. I can only kill the power to escape. I have left my computer on overnight without launching Firefox and it is still fine in the morning. If I turn my computer on and do nothing other than launch Firefox and go to bed. It is frozen solid in the morning.

Do you go to any certain sites, or any site ?

When I launch Firefox and leave it overnight it is just on the Firefox start page.

Try closing Firefox, then in the search box type in:

firefox.exe -p

This is the profile manager, just make a new profile and try and see. this will eliminate the Firefox Profile. You can always switch it back

Well, I disagree that Firefox can't cause BSOD's. Up until last night I had no BSOD's. Now every time I start Firefox 26.0, I get a BSOD within 5 minutes and sometimes in less than a minute. Launching Firefox causes havoc with my updated graphics driver. I updated Firefox on the 19th of December and though I had no BSOD's for a few days, I don't use Firefox all the time is most likely the reason. I do not have this problem with Chrome.

To make matters worse Mozilla states the following on their Install an older version article;

So, in short Mozilla says, just use another browser!

Yes Mozilla would prefer users to uses something secure, even if that is another browser.

Ideally Firefox should not Crash. If it does crash it is not normally a BSOD crash.

BSOD crashes are often Graphics related. Does Firefox crash still if you use Windows Safe Mode (use f8 key on booting - Windows to Windows 7)and then start Firefox in Firefox's safe mode.
