Why wont my bookmark tool bar chocies stay in place. They keep deleting.
Something has happened to my Firefox. The whole thing is acting crazy in the last week. When I bookmark a site now on my toolbar (which has been intact for months) the next time I open the browser they are gone. And things look different. I uninstalled the program, and reinstalled it, but the exact same things came back. Can you help me get back to my old and reliable Firefox? Did you change it all around? Wow, what happened.

- GO to Firefox button > Bookmarks
- Hit Import / Restore go to the Restore submenu and go to one of the backups displayed

Problems with bookmarks and history not working properly can be caused by a corrupted places.sqlite database file.
You can check for problems with the places.sqlite database file in the Firefox profile folder.
