Why do I have 3 AOL logos in my menu bar? Does slow down operations?
Even with Mackeeper my Mac runs slower and slower. When I go to Firefox, three AOL mail logos pop up. This can't be right. Does it slow down the machine? Help!
What is all of this?

With respect to whether it slows down your Firefox or your entire system, I couldn't say, but some add-ons may communicate to the internet in the background, e.g, to check for mail or retrieve news/weather/etc. The best way to judge whether the extension is hurting performance is to use Firefox without it for a while.
The info you pasted into your post usually shows up under the MORE SYSTEM DETAILS link to the right of the question. Not sure what went wrong there.
Last but not least, the forum software detected your Firefox as version 18. Is that correct?
Version 18 is not secure; Mozilla discloses security flaws after each new release. Is something holding you back from upgrading to Firefox 21? Please let us know so we can suggest solutions or workarounds.
If Help > About Firefox shows Firefox 21.0, you may need to clear the preference that is misreporting your version number. See: How to reset the default user agent on Firefox.

If you have AOL overload on your toolbars, you might consider disabling some of your AOL-related add-ons. You can review and disable extensions here:
Tools menu > Add-ons > Extensions category
