Firefox has become unusable over the past year. It runs very slow - much slower than other browsers. Why should we need to "troubleshoot"? FIX IT!!!
Over the past year Firefox on Mac has bogged down to the point where it is unusable. I spend most of my time on Firefox just watching a spinning ball and waiting. Even hitting the escape key does not stop it! Who TF programs something where the escape key does not stop a process? Please do not send me yet another "troubleshoot" web page. When so many people are having this same problem you need to FIX IT or just admit that this open source experiment has failed. (And as far as I can tell, it has....). Firefox used to be the best, now it is virtually unusable.
