Probably around once per day I get this issue with Firefox. I will always be working in FIrefox when it happens. The program will start flashing on and off (as if I was selecting and then deselecting it in the taskbar). It will be doing this more than once per second. The issue continues until I shut down firefox. If I click onto another program, the problem will stop occurring in firefox but WILL occcur with this new program instead.

I have tried unistalling and reinstalling firefox to no avail.

hello DavePage, you could try to update your graphics drivers . these should be the links to the right versions for your integrated intel hd graphics & the dedicated nvidia card:

then you could also try disabling hardware acceleration in firefox > options > advanced > general & see if this addresses the issue...

Try to boot the computer in Windows Safe mode with network support (press F8 on the boot screen) as a test to see if that helps.
