I have Windows Xp with SP 3 32 bit version of Windows XP Firefox version 6.0.1

I have uninstalled the newest adobe flash player 10 and also uninstalled Firefox from add/remove programs and re-installed them and adobe flash paler will still not work.

Are you installing the correct version of Flash? Firefox needs the Plugin version, only IE uses the ActiveX version.

1.Download the Flash setup file from here:
Adobe Flash - Plugin version.
Save it to your Desktop.

2. Close Firefox using File > Exit
then check the Task Manager > Processes tab to make sure firefox.exe is closed,
{XP: Ctrl+Alt+Del = Processes tab}

3. Then run the Flash setup file from your Desktop.

4. Start Firefox and test your installation here: https://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/
