How do I stop multiple web browser windows opening? some sites open firefox behind the one Im using. so when I close firefox I find another one is hiding behind it with some add on it. how do I stop this????

You can use "File > Exit" to close all open windows at once to avoid such a surprise.

You can change these prefs on the about:config page to make all such windows open in tabs.
