Unresponsive script with chrome
A see a pop-up with: A script on , this page may be busy or it may hav stopped responding ....
Script: chrome://searchshield/content/overlay.js:295 I have checked Tools extensions & themes & they are up to date. This problem is intermittant. Going into safe mode I don't think will help me. I'm using windowsXP service pack3 & Firefox 3.6.10.

Check and tell if its working.
I followed up the suggested & discovered that there is a diagnostic tool that I can use ie Tools>Web developer>Error console. This might be useful.
Disabled YouTube file extension and Script: chrome://vidbar/content/downloader.js:96 errors have disappeared.
Thanks for the info, but I can't test this @ the moment because my laptop is being repaired. I'm using a borrowed pc to type this message & the Firefox settings are different. Hardly any plug-ins loaded
