Yes, I have checked Tools > Options > Privacy > History: "Remember search and form history"

It's really weird. I have both 3.5 and 3.6 Firefox on my computer. I start 3.5, and autocomplete works. I start 3.6, and autocomplete does NOT work. Same plugins and settings.

I was hoping that the newer versions of 3.6 would solve this problem, but they do not.

Any suggestions?

Thank you for your help.

Strangely, the location bar will autocomplete. It is web forms that will NOT autocomplete.

I can go to the SAME website, and in 3.5 it will autocomplete, but in 3.6 it will NOT.

I start in Safe Mode, and the problem still persists.

Is there any way to escalate this to a higher level of tech support?

However, you already made these recommendations in the posts above.

Does it only happen on that specific we page or on all web pages?

It is possible that there is a problem with the file that stores the "Saved Form" data. Rename or delete formhistory.sqlite (plus formhistory.sqlite-journal and formhistory.sqlite.corrupt and formhistory.dat, if they exist) in the Profile Folder in case there is a problem with the file that stores the "Saved Form" data. This will remove all saved form data, so you may want to rename formhistory.sqlite to formhistory.sqlite.sav or move the file to another folder in case you need to recover some saved data.

It happens on all web pages that I've tried. For example, Google and a movie review webpage.

Pages in which autocomplete works fine in 3.5 do not work in 3.6. No page I've tried works with autocomplete in 3.6.

So cor-el, I'm not finding the answer to the problem here.

Google uses autocomplete=off for the search bar on the www.google.com page and the search filed at the top of the Google results page, the one at the bottom of the results doesn't use autocomplete=off. Autocomplete won't work on pages with autocomplete=off.
