I have to click twice in google search before I can enter anything
When I go to firefox start page I have to click twice in google to enable me to type anything

I would recommend trying to start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode and see if the problem also exist when started like that. If Safe Mode fixes it, turn your add-ons on one by one to see which one causes it.

I was able to fix this problem by booting xp in safe mode and running advanced system care. I got it from www.yesroc.net but you can go to iobit.com. problem seems to have gone.
