Can not change default Firefox home page in settings. I am 78 years old & know nothing about computers. Thank You

I use Firefox to search the net.
Remember I am 79 years old & as mentioned before I know nothing about computers.
Guess I will just have to live with this.
When I click on changing my default it will not allow me to paste the home page I wan.
