My search bar has become tiny for no clear reason, how does one fix this?
For some reason I can not understand the search bar in my toolbar has become so small that it is borderline unusable. No amount of removing and replacing it, fiddling with empty spaces, etc. has any effect on it. Furthermore it appears completely normal sized when I'm editing the toolbar. Does anyone have any clue what causes this?

Ah, I am an idiot. I had accidentally shrunk the bar at some point by clicking and dragging the space between it and the address bar. I'd never done it intentionally before now and didn't know it was a thing.

Just wondering if you know the url/address bar can be used as a search bar,
Regarding the box, do you mean the outlined white box to the right of the url box with the google search option
otherwise yes it does look like a spaces issue, i.e. the spaces are auto and not defined by pixels, so stretch

I know the address bar works as a search bar, but I like to use the actual search bar to remember my last search and/or serve as kind of a mini notepad. And yeah, I mean the small box with the google icon. I'm not sure what you mean with your last sentence.
