Windows 11. I am the web manager for tunbridge wells u3a. The site is hosted by the national u3a and uses their templates etc. On edge and chrome, it works fine, but not on Firefox. Several months ago, the page operations (save, open, change, etc took a few minutes to complete, with the message bottom left about waiting for the host site. All of the usual cache clearing, reboots etc made no difference.

Would it be possible you're getting caught in some bot protection rate limit? As you claim using Windows device, however the technical data coming with your question seem to hint at a Linux machine, or some "privacy" masquerading appliance. Could you describe your setup a little more to help understand this? Thanks.

I have Windows 11, not Linux. I have Adlock Plus and Badger, nothing else. Neither of these affect the other sites I open with Firefox. It is just this one that is hosted by our national group using WordPress. It never used to be like this but started playing up over a year ago. Right now, I just default to Google for this website and Firefox for everything else. But I wish I understood the problem. I don't have Adblock or Badgeron Google so maybe should try that and see if the same thing happens.

If you either disable those addons, or restart into Troubleshoot Mode (via Help menu) that skips loading similar extensions for a bit, do you see any difference?

If you go to www.whatsmybrowser.org could you paste here the shortcode they give in the blue header? (You can get one in normal browsing, and one in troubleshoot mode to compare to help inform where it's coming from.)
