How to block McAfee pop-ups on firefox
I bought a new hp notepad and McAfee keeps popping up. I followed the instructions on internet to no avail. Please help my new notebook is useless to me with mcfee popups

So that's coming from the sites you allowed to send these — every notification will have the actual site location somewhere in the "fine print" — the steps to revoke them are: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/push-notifications-firefox#w_how-do-i-revoke-web-push-permissions-for-a-specific-site

What kind of pop-ups are those? Do you see them only with Firefox open?

No it happens when I play microsoft solitare. I followed the instructions on the internet, it said to go to whatever browser you are using , go to settings, privacy and security etc. That's why I ask Firefox for help. By the way the pop-ups come up while I'm using Firefox browser too

Not sure if that's related, then. If you see the pop-ups even with Firefox closed, Firefox won't help you get rid of them. Could you please clarify if that's the case?
