Firefox Password Manager will not save the entire URL necessary to access the login site
Password Manager will not save a URL larger than the first few words (base URL). But the site necessary to login contains more directions after the "xxx.com", and Password Manager truncates everything after the ".com" so it will not return to the proper site to login.

Unfortunately, that's a current limitation of the Firefox Password Manager. We have a couple of enhancement requests for storing more than just domains (like https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1808391), but I'm not sure there are immediate plans on working on this.
