How do I get rid of some of the sections on the home page? For example, there are some, like all the sports ones, that I NEVER want to see.

This would be helpful, if I could see the buttons and menu. I can't. I am on version 146 of Firefox and there are no "Follow" or "..." next to or anywhere on my home page. Any other suggestions?
I've also clicked on Customize and when I look at "Recommended Stories", I am not given an option to personalize there either.
I had to refresh Firefox to get these to appear.

Thanks for the reply, but I don't see where I can remove specific topic from the stories.

Got it, could you send a screenshot of your home screen if you're comfortable? In that way it would be easier for me to help your troubleshoot this.
