I had to reset my computer and have encountered a problem getting a link to load. In my Facebook, I have a game I play (Doubledown casino) and when I click a link for that game to add chips, it will not process. All I get is a spinning circle. What do I have to do to get the link(s) to process? Thank you.

Hi,

It sounds like the links for your game aren’t loading properly in Firefox after your computer reset. Here are some steps you can try to fix it:

Clear cache and cookies for Facebook

Go to Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data → Manage Data…

Search for facebook.com and remove its data.

Restart Firefox and try the link again.

Check Facebook pop-up and redirect settings

Make sure Firefox is allowing pop-ups from Facebook:

Settings → Privacy & Security → Permissions → Block pop-up windows → Click Exceptions… and add facebook.com.

Disable extensions temporarily Some ad blockers or privacy extensions can block game links or pop-ups.

Go to Menu ≡ → Add-ons → Extensions and disable anything that could interfere.

Hope this helps!

Thank you for your response. I apologize for delay in getting back to you. The reason being the link I mentioned comes up occasionally so I had to wait for one so I could test it after making the changes you suggested. Unfortunately, no change. When I click on the link, it starts to open then stops and the rotating donut comes up. If I use a different browser, when I click on the link it starts with the rotating donut then loads the object. I also have a problem with Firefox when accessing my Facebook. Instead of opening Facebook, I have to go through the Captcha b.s. Guess I'll just have to live with these problems. Thanks again and have a good day.
