That does sound odd. Sometimes when extensions or updates don’t fully install, you can see weird messages like that. I’d suggest checking which add-ons are currently active in Firefox and maybe try disabling them one by one to see if the issue goes away. Also, make sure your browser is fully updated small version mismatches can cause errors like the ones you’re describing.
