when I go to icloud.com to view and download photos and all my icloud stuff on my phone, I can no longer sign in using firefox. I turned off the shield security but no help. There used to be a pop-up that let you enter the code apple emailed you so you could access your icloud stuff on the web. Now there is no place to enter the code they send you. I enabled pop-ups too, but that didn't work. Help! I need my photos! And I use that site pretty much constantly-

Using a private browsing window, or clearing site data is reported to help to be able to log in again.

Thank you! Using a private window worked. The standard window still does not work fyi.

Yes, we're currently working with Apple on un-shipping a change on their side, and planning a more resilient path to upgrade users.

There is an extra session verification stored that gets stale over time and stops matching what Apple expects — you can follow the linked bug above to remove that session cookie selectively if you're able to make sense of the information collected there, which would immediately unblock you. We'll hopefully hear back from iCloud folks that they're able to update the sessions again correctly for customers.

Hi,

The issue should now be resolved. Could you please try signing in again in a regular window to confirm (or not) the fix?

Thank you. It works fine now- I just tested it all out!
