Hello everyone, I run into a problem setting up my new mini PC, Geekom A6. I downloaded Firefox as usual from https://www.firefox.com/de/. I started the installation, and everything went through perfectly fine. When I expected that Firefox would start, only the Profile Manager started. When I try to create a new profile, the wizard appears for a millisecond and closes instantly. Here's the whole start process as a video: [https://streamable.com/zkeb46 https://streamable.com/zkeb46] https://streamable.com/zkeb46 What I already tried to fix it: * Run Firefox as Admin -> nothing changed * Rename profiles ini -> nothing changed; ini was not newly created. * Manually create the Profiles folder. That actually let me start the wizard but would end in this failure message: "Profile couldn’t be created. Probably the chosen folder isn’t writable. [Exception... "Component returned failure code: 0x80520015 (NS_ERROR_FILE_ACCESS_DENIED) [nsIToolkitProfileService.createProfile]" nsresult: "0x80520015 (NS_ERROR_FILE_ACCESS_DENIED)" location: "JS frame :: chrome://mozapps/content/profile/createProfileWizard.js :: onFinish :: line 250" data: no]" I gave this folder every access right for everyone, but still the same error. I tried to choose a custom folder, which worked (once in Document and once in C:/Firefox/Profile). But when I wanted to start Firefox, this error came: "An unexpected error has prevented your changes from being saved." and the option to restart Firefox. When I do so, I am once again back at the Firefox profile selection (but the previously created profile is not visible to select). * Use an older installer of Firefox -> I tried 1.40, 1.39, and 1.38, but the same problem everywhere. * Using winget but that led to the same error. * Starting firefox in save mode (firefox -safe-mode) also leads to Profile Manager I am using the latest Windows 11 24H2 and drivers are up to date. I hope you can help me using Firefox on this device.
