Problem when install your updates

Lately, every time I install one of your updates, you forget my preferred search engine, and I don't have my shortcuts til I re-start the computer. This never used to be an issue - PLEASE FIX IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I shouldn't have to waste my time re-doing this every time, and I don't like Ya as the default search you seem to be assigning.  :(

In most of the world, Google is the default search engine, but it is Yandex. is some regions. Either way, Firefox usually remembers.

Some users have reported that if they remove ALL the built-in search engines by going through the Search Shortcuts box and removing them there (or possibly by using CCleaner or other external tool), then at the next update, Firefox restore all of them. If you are doing that, try keeping Wikipedia or some other innocuous search engine and see whether that helps.

Do you mean the icons below the search box on the new tab page are missing?
