Profiles on build 140

Hello all!

According to the article [Firefox Profiles] there is supposed to be a way to manage profiles through the account icon. I do not have that option on my build 140 with windows 11.

I created profiles using the about:profiles command; however, they seem to want to be separate accounts, not profiles.

I want help to achieve the functionality as described in the article so I can stop using Edge because I need to keep my work/personal/school accounts separate.

Thanks!

The about:profiles page creates old-style profiles which each have an individual settings folder. They can optionally be connected to a Mozilla account to share data, or they can remain signed out so their data is not merged with other profiles. It sounds like you need to keep them signed out to keep your data separate.

The new profiles UI works independently of the old list of profiles. I believe the general concept is the same: separate folder, signing into a Mozilla account to merge settings is optional.
