How to recall my old Firefox back as the new update was auto-install and I didn't authorize having Microsoft intervene today??

There isn't a convenient method to remove an update. Could you describe what changed in more detail? If you need to disable or remove an add-on, see: Manage your extensions using the extensions button in the toolbar.

Firefox from Mozilla.org does not come with any Microsoft extensions.

Are you using the Firefox version on Microsoft Store perhaps?
