Can not update or download
Here is what ion the settings page under the general tab, system has been disabled by system administrator. I don't have a administrator. I can't get anywhere using terminal. Looks like someone is controlling things. I did finally get over to my latest new email address, [edited] @protonmail.com. Do you think I will have to erase the HDrive and start over. And than who knows how that will work. What do you think ? Thanks Gary

It looks like you are using a Firefox package build from Mint and not a official tarball build from Mozilla.
Mozilla only provides internal Firefox updates for their own Firefox builds for Windows, macOS and Linux as that Mint build of Firefox gets updates in the package manager.

Though if you cannot get updates new Firefox updates in the package manager then your version of Mint may be EOL with no more package updates.
