w11 on laptop. Cleaned PC using CCleaner. Restarted windows. Launched Firefox and only 1 tab with calendar opened. Went to History but no indication of the previous session available. ?

Thanks Arun. Doesn't work because some of your references do not appear in my menus. Especially the CCleaner menus. Never mind, it hasn't occurred again and was probably something I did. I'll live with it.
