dialog box won't open
When i try to open a document on firefox or upload/save something I end up with the error reading "The windows file-dialog could not be opened. No file or folder could be selected." This happens on every site. I disabled all my extensions/add-ons and ran the command prompt "sfc /scannow." Is there some way to fix this? Maybe in about:config?

What OS? Provide steps to replicate your issue and post a screenshot. I can upload images here with no issues. see screenshot
Does the error also appear if you try Save Page As (Ctrl+S) or right-click an image > Save Image As... ?
Do you use any "sandbox" or virtual machine programs to isolate Firefox?
Can you provide an example site that we can access?
