file explorer not displaying correct data when I try to attach a document to a online web page I'm sending to a doctor. When I click on attach in message the computer screen displays firefox file upload with incorrect data.

I am trying to attach a document to a online message being sent to a doctor by clicking 'attach' in message. What is happening is the screen that should be current file explorer showing all the files comes up showing the message 'firefox tag' with words 'file upload' and some old data. I do not understand why! Should I be deleting firefox and reloading ?
CAn someone point me in right direction?
