Can I go back to the previous version of Thunderbird, and how?
I would like to go to the previous version of Thunderbird. If it's not possible I would regrettably , after more than a decade, stop using it. thanks np

I just don't like it ... missing simple and essential features, adding more complicated one best np
ok, I don't recommend it, as the current version is enjoying regular updates and will continue to, whereas prior versions will not receive updates. Which version do you want to revert to? Tell me that and I'll give more info.

Assuming 64-bit and English, the EXE download is here: https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/thunderbird/releases/102.15.1/win64/en-US/ I would uninstall the current version and then install this version. I would also copy the profile elsewhere for safekeeping. That would be the thunderbird folder at c:\users\<yourid>\appdata\roaming\thunderbird . You will probably get an error that the profile is for a newer version. If so, delete the compatibility.ini file in the profile. And remember to change settings>general to NOT update thunderbird.
