How to delete old sync data so that I can upload a new sync?
Hello, I've got a bit of an issue with Sync. So, my current sync profile is outdated by ages, and I'd like to delete it completely and update it with all of the information on my desktop browser. But, when I try to enable sync on my desktop it overwrites my desktop profile with all of the outdated information saved on Sync. I can't seem to find anywhere to delete the saved Sync data so that I can upload a new copy.

Nope. Had to make another account entirely and do a fresh sync on it. Seems like a pretty massive oversight on the part of Mozilla but what can you do.

You can reset the password for the Mozilla Sync Account to remove old data stored on the server.
still unclear about resetting the password. I changed my password and that did nothing. I am going to guess using the "Forgot password" link?
Yes, using the "forgot password" button will clear all data on the Sync server, data stored in the profile folder is not affected.
My friend, you can use this extension to see pretty much every information your Firefox Sync is working with. You can also edit or delete specific records. This extension just saved my day so I actually went to google to look for other people who need it. Enjoy!
