Oh, I see this post has a little more detail than the other one. You can start Firefox, and you can access this site, but there is a problem with your searches. Which site do you use for searches? For example, Google, Bing, Yahoo, DuckDuckGo, or one of the many others?

i search many sites wuth firefox privacy now impossible but its affecting google the home page for google is wrong black with just a search bar. i have uninstalled firefox and did a clean reinstall no help joe

no mabey i should remove google and reinstall a new clean 1 it may be causing issues with firefox ?

Hi Joe, installing or uninstalling Chrome doesn't affect Firefox, so I wouldn't bother with that.

Are you mostly using DuckDuckGo (you have their Privacy Essentials add-on in the list you shared)?

If the Google home page doesn't have readable text, maybe there is a theme problem, like dark text on a dark background. If you click the page background and Select All (Ctrl+A), can you see any text on the page when it is selected?
