I am in the US. In the list of Search Shortcuts in firefox preferences, amazon is listed and used to be simply amazon.com. At some point it switched itself to amazon.de...Now anytime I go to amazon, I land on the German version. Yes, I use a vpn, but I never personally set the search shortcut to amazon.de. It happened without my permission. And I'd like to edit it back to the US version but there does not seem to be a way to Add the correct version without installing an extension which should be unnecessary. I can remove the wrong version of course, but then how to add the correct version and prevent it from switching without my permission? I am on a mac, high sierra, firefox 113.0.2 Thank you.
