A solution to the same problem was found in the following thread but that was in 2019. Security software may have changed something. Try entering about:policies in the address bar and, if something is there, post it here.

It may help to check (and, if incorrect) reset your user agent.

You can try to disable the accessibility services.
You can check the connection settings.
- Settings -> General -> Network: Connection -> Settings
If you do not need to use a proxy to connect to internet, select "No Proxy" if "Use the system proxy settings" or one of the others do not work properly.
See "Firefox connection settings":

Do you have enabled "Resist Fingerprinting" if you check this pref on the about:config page?
- privacy.resistFingerprinting => false

Yous posted this thread while using this as your browser UserAgent : Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/58.0.3029.110 Safari/537.3 Edge/16.16299
Were you indeed using the Firefox 112.0 web browser on addons.mozilla.org ?
Yes, I was using 112.0.2
You've modified your useragent. Enter about:config in the address bar and find the general.useragent.override preference. It should be deleted.

Do you have an extension that modifies the user agent as having a MS Edge user agent is highly unusual ?

Boot the computer in Windows Safe Mode with network support to see if that has effect.
