Flickering in wlroots wayland
when hovering over buttons in certain extensions and in the firefox menu, flickers occur, sometimes crashing the compositor if it doesn't have mitigations. tested in Hyprland from the AUR package https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/hyprland-git

Just tested on GNOME wayland on NixOS and only the singular buttons flicker, rather than the entire extension popup, so it seems to be different depending on the implementation
and yeah, I'll try it in xorg

nope, doesn't happen on gnome xorg
