'Securing Website' Failure

On accessing a financial website that I have accessed many times before using firefox, I received a prompt to set up two step authentication (new for this website).

I put in my login details and it gets to a point whener a message is displayed 'securing connection'.

This fails and the site give message that 'it's us not you'. However, using Opera, I was able to login even if having to accept cookies about 6 times.

This may be a firefox issue but I am still thinkign that it coincides with the changes they have made their end for login and using the other browser although I can login I get the odd cooke message behaviour.

Any views wodul be appreciated. Getting through to the right people at the website in question (and indeed any these days) who would analyse this with some basic coding knowledge is almost impossible.
