McAfee VPN thwarts Firefox
I use McAfee VPN, which is on always. Firefox loads most websites without problem. However, a website I use frequently, USPS dot com, fails to load with the approximate message "encoding error." If I turn off McAfee VPN, the website loads fine. The browser I used until last week (Chrome) had no problems with the US Postal Service site.

USPS is a fairly safe site not sure why you want to use VPN to go to the site. Maybe it loading something conflicting with Firefox loading the site that it isn't loaded. As you saw when disabled it works just fine would indicate something with McAfee program itself interrupting the connection.
