Hello, I tried to sign in to my firefox account on a new computer and it appears the rules for password format have changed such that my existing password is too short to be used. How should I proceed to either sign in or reset my password without affecting my existing firefox browsers and lockwise app? Thank you.

Note that the Lockwise app for mobile devices has been discontinued and is no longer supported. You can use the Password Manager in the current Firefox release for Mobile and connect to the Sync account.
You can do a password reset if the current password is too short and you aren't able to change it.
This will only affect (remove) data stored on the Sync server and not data stored on connected devices. If you reset the password then best is to first reconnect the main device and give it enough time to finish the initial sync and then connect other devices one at the time and check for possible issues.
