Delayed response when trying to open idle Firefox windows in Windows 10
Hi! I wanted to reach out to Firefox support about an odd issue that's been happening for the past month or so.
When I go to interact with an idle open window or bring a minimized window to the foreground, I'll randomly get no response and hear an error noise. Firefox never has any associated error messages, and it has yet to show "unresponsive" status when this happens in Windows 10. I'm wondering if anyone else is running into this issue, as it started roughly the same time with both my work and home PCs. Perhaps a recent Windows 10 and/or Firefox update is the cause...?

Hi, FredMcD! Thanks for your quick reply to my question.
Though, I think I may have found what's interfering with Firefox. I recently updated to 1Password 8 on both my Windows 10 workstations, and that's roughly when the issue started. When I forced 1Password 8 to close, I was able to interact like normal with Firefox - so I'll see if there's anything that can be done with their support.
Thanks again for your time, and hope you have a great week.

Firefox itself does not make any noise. It must be from an add-on or the computer.
Start Firefox using Troubleshoot(Safe) Mode {web link}
A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Troubleshoot(Safe) Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?
Start your Computer in safe mode with network support. Then start Firefox. Try Secure websites. Is the problem still there?
