What is the search you were using (DDG) ? What did you select to open?

I selected Download. Sorry, I don't know what DDG stands for.

DDG = DuckDuckGo

Sorry, DDG info was in my question. My search was simply "Dan Brown Origin". BlindHypnosis.com was my selected website from the list of options I choose to download rather than read on line, because here in India our Wi-Fi is very spotty.

I used the above DuckDuckGo search and found this link. Google did not show up.

Please try your search again. But first; Start Firefox using Troubleshoot(Safe) Mode {web link}

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Troubleshoot(Safe) Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?

Sorry for the delay. Covid is causing problems. For some reason, I can't find Start in Troubleshoot(Safe) Mode. I'm sending a screen shoot of the popup dialog box. I tried the DDG link you gave and opened it using the VPN on Firefox but the same message appeared. I also tried using Safari but got the same result.

If the browser is running; Type about:support<enter> in the address box. Look at the top-right corner.

If the browser is not running; Hold down the left <Shift> button, then start the browser.
