Giải pháp được chọn

The Back page arrow should navigate the history of the current tab.

What do you see in the history if you hold down the left mouse button on the Back button ?

Start Firefox in Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) or if hardware acceleration or userChrome.css is causing the problem.

  • switch to the DEFAULT theme: "3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Themes
  • do NOT click the "Refresh Firefox" button on the Troubleshoot Mode start window

It shows correct history. Let me be explicit: let's say I'm navigating a page and I choose and click a link near the bottom of the page...I go to that page...now I want to go back...I choose arrow back page button...this is where the return to previous page doesn't return towards the bottom where I had previously navigated to and chosen a link...it ALWAYS returns to the top of the page. I hope this is plain.

I'm not sure what changed but I opened in troubleshoot mode and it navigated without the problem. I then closed and reopened in normal everyday mode and it navigated without problem. Dunno.
