I am using Firefox 93.0 on Archlinux, with Kde Plasma 5.22.5 and since yesterday a very strange issue is happening.

Only when I use my Firefox' Work Profile, the mouse cursor hitpoint is misaligned from the tip of the pointer.

For example, for the arrow cursor, the hit point is on the left a few pixels below the arrow tip. For the text caret cursor it is even worse as the hit point lies outside the cursor itself, about 5 pixels below.

This happens not only within the pages, but also on the tabs, bookmarks, tabs, menus and even the settings page, as can be see in the partial screenshot attached. As per the cursor position, the "Advanced" button should be highlighted, but "Colours" is highlighted instead.

This DOES not happen with any other program on the same linux session and not even on firefox when using my private profile.

I have tried disabling extensions, but that did not change anything.

I am not even sure where I can start investigating or troubleshooting this, appreciate any suggestion. Thank you.

Try this in order;

Reboot the computer.

Make sure all software, including the mouse, is up to date.

Start Firefox using Troubleshoot(Safe) Mode {web link}

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Troubleshoot(Safe) Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?
