Can we bring back a more compact view on FF 89 ?
Hi,
I've just discovered that the "compact" layout has been removed from Firefox version 89.
On top of that it look slike custom css is no more supoprted either.
Is there hope to get the compact layout back ? Where should we upvote for feature requests or the like ?

You need to start giving people choice on in settings not giving "hidden" ways of doing things.
Bring back the old look ..... strongly dislike (hate) 89.
Terrible update. Give Firefox users some warning before we have to jump through hoops for a usable browser.

You don't have More Tools on the main menu? Hmm, why would that be?
Alternately, you can right-click a blank area of the tab bar and click Customize Toolbars...

Hi I followed all the steps exactly as stated in the chosen solution. I still do not get the compact view. I am using Firefox on a Windows 10 pro system; all updates done. I tried on three different PCs ( 2 are windows 10, only one is Win10 pro; one of the PCs is a touch screen desktop). I do not get a compact view. What am I missing, please? Would really appreciate it. Thank you!

Hi Adam, the difference between "Normal" and "Compact" density for tab and toolbar heights is not very big. This screenshot illustrates the difference in heights is only a few pixels:
Is that what you're seeing?

Hi Adam, are you finding the UI usable or do you need more intervention options? Perhaps best to start a new question if we're going beyond this issue of the compact density.
