Let me understand. Do you want to delete all your bookmarks?

Type about:support<enter> in the address bar.

Under the page logo on the left side, you will see Application Basics. Under this find Profile Folder. To its right press the button Show Folder. This will open your file browser to the current Firefox profile. Now Close Firefox.

The places.sqlite file contains your History and Bookmarks. Delete this file. A new one will be created when you start the browser.

You can open the Bookmarks Manager (Library) and type a common character like a colon (:) in the search bar. You can select all bookmarks via the right-click context menu and delete them. If that isn't working then there is a problem with places.sqlite If you delete places.sqlite then Firefox will rebuild the bookmarks automatically from a recent backup in the bookmarkbackups folder, so you will have to remove all those backups to prevent this if you would use this method.

Note that you may want to remove favicons.sqlite as well.
