Enhanced Tracking
Enhanced Tracking prevents me from logging into Firefox. All attempts while on would lead to a "500 server error" that was noted and to be looked into. After a 24hr time frame of the same results, I disabled the 'purple shield' on the series of pages loaded in order to sign into help. That allowed me to successfully sign into help and 'close' the question about Firefox not retaining page zoom setting (privacy.resistFingerprinting TRUE was the culprit). Above was a statement, my question is why would by default Enhanced Tracking prevent mozilla.org support site from working?

I have FF on "strict" protection settings and have "never" experienced any difficulties on any websites.
however, unlike most others, i do not have additional security apps installed and running either in windows and in FF.
so you may be experiencing some software conflicts on your end.
databaseben, thanks for your response. I disabled Privacy Badger and uBlock origin. I was able to get to the sign in page with Enhance Protection on, but it was only a cycle. I'd log in, page would load back to an "unsigned in" page (the 'sign in' still at the top rh corner of the page). I had to disable Enhanced Protection in order to sign in and post to this. I am glad you do not experience this, but Enhanced Protection is hindering FF 88 from working on Mozillz.org support.
Sometimes anti-virals and anti-malwares create software conflicts.
What i always suggest for seeing if FF is truly corrupted or maybe something is corrupting it, is to begin with a clean slate.
I suggest for you to temporarily disable all FF add-ins and also disable all Windows start up apps, including but not limited to anti-virus, vpn's, blockers of this and that, cleaners of this and that, etc..,.
Then reboot and revisit the page.
If the problem no longer presents itself, then it was because you had temporarily disabled something in the above steps.
But if the problem continues, then this is something to look into.

Thanks again. FF in troubleshooting mode, MS Essentials off, Enhanced Protection on: Still a cycle at the login. 'Click' the 'purple shield' and I can get logged in. This current run of FF was 'refreshed' this weekend when FF was running and in the background (second monitor visible) that suddenly large areas of black appeared on the page. I could not fix. Then on 87 it was run with add-ons off. I did that and it fixed the appearance. Turned add-ons back on and the same black areas to which I could not see to disable add-ons one at a time to troubleshoot. I opted to uninstall/re-install. Control panel area FF was asking to 'Refresh'. I did and that is what this FF is now (with the update yesterday to 88). So, it is Enhanced Protection that is causing ME issues with mozilla.org support. I do admit, now I do not get the 500 server error while Enhance Protection is on, but I do end up in a loop of signing in and being sent back to a page with the signin icon in upper rh corner of the screen, never signed in.
You can disable FF security features under options > security
But on my system, I have it in "strict" mode and I can see the site and many others without any flaws and faults.
Knowing that FF is stable and able to see the webpage, helps you to further look for alternate causes for the corruption.
