Firefox crashing / not opening on startup.
Dear whoever it may concern.
I am having an issue regarding Mozilla Firefox. Since restarting my pc I have been unable to launch Mozilla Firefox as it keeps crashing on startup. I have tried various different 'solutions' such as manually deleting Firefox from Program Files and Program Files (x86). As well as this I have also located and completely deleted Firefox from my Local files on my pc. After doing this I tried a fresh install and still the application does not open.
No crash dialog has been left behind and I am unable to access the application to check through Firefox itself.

That is a pretty good video.
What is needed to be understood if the issue is with FireFox or with your operating system causing FF to be problematic.
What I first suggest is to test the issue via Windows Safemode w/networking.
Then let us know the results.
Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link}
A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?
Start your Computer in safe mode with network support. Then start Firefox. Try Secure websites. Is the problem still there?

If the problem goes away with the computer in Safe Mode,
the problem is with one of the other programs on the system.
As a test, disable your protection programs.

I have done as you suggested, and tested the issue via Windows Safemode w/networking. After rebooting with sm w/nw and launching Firefox it opened as per usual without issue. I then restarted my pc as per usual and tried launching Firefox just to double check and it did not open in ordinary Windows. I have also discovered I have the exact same issue with Google Chrome - this leads me to believe that is is a problem with my OS causing Firefox to crash rather than the app itself.
What would be your suggested next course of action as obviously it is essentially impossible to use windows safe mode as a solution.

If you'd watched the video that I provided in the thread you would have seen that I am not able to open Firefox at all, not even in safemode. You also would have seen that I had already disabled all forms of protection on my computer.
I appreciate you for replying to the thread in attempts to help, but usually looking at the whole thread helps.
Anyway, don't take that personally as that is not how it was intended. Continuing on from what you said if you look at my reply I have just posted I have explained that I have launched Windows Safemode w/networking and the problem does not occur.

You can check for issues caused by a corrupted or incomplete Visual C++ installation that is missing runtime components (Redistributable Packages) required by Firefox, especially VCRUNTIME140_1.dll.

I've just looked via Event viewer to see if there are any errors while running Firefox and none have displayed.
I am also the only user of this PC. Although I have just created a new account in order to test whether Firefox runs fine there, which it does.

Just need to see what is not running under the new user compared to your account. I like to use autoruns to see what's running.

I have closed everything that I was able to through Task Manager and Process Hacker 2, and the problem still occurs. I even went as far as completely uninstalling Bullguard antivirus and restarting my pc with no help.

Did you compare the autoruns list of your account and the new account to see what may be different? Nothing in that Family Safety Monitor process that would interfere?
This is bit of a reach, but do you happen to have anything Citrix installed? ;-)
