Hi guys,

SOmething is wrong with the firefox on my laptop. The laptop has 32Gb ram. It is super fast. Internet speed more than 100Mb/sec. Docker containers are running, everything is fine. But with firefox, I type a letter and it needs serveral seconds to print it. I tried serveral steps, recommended for similar problems, located under "support", but not nothing helped. I disabled plugins, extensions. Still the same.

What can I do to find a reason?

The problem belongs to DELL laptop. When the laptop is closed and you work via a docking station with external monitors, for some reason it affects ONLY browsers. The way how graphics is updated.

Opening the laptop fixes the issue. Disabling the laptop monitor in the opened state, makes the problem come again.

Actually it is very strange. On the same laptop Firefox works fine: 1. on Windows, both from home and in the office 2. on Linux when I work from home.

But when I am in the office, it slows down. Are there any services, which gather information? Any ideas?

Can you download a separate copy of Firefox to a folder and run it from there?

I left my distro's browser and have had no issues.
